Last Thursday, Marissa and I headed out, just the two of us to go to the County Fair in Salem. As I drove by the Young Life office (where my mom volunteers), I figured I better stop by and say hello. Once we told grandma our plans, there was no stopping her from coming with us. On our drive to Salem, Dan called to check in with us for the afternoon and I told him we were headed to the fair. At that point he decided to take an hour or so to have lunch with us and take Marissa to see some of the animals.
So, needless to say we all had a great time (Dan for just a little bit), looking at the animals and eating lunch. Marissa learned the sound a sheep makes and couldn't stop "baaing" the entire afternoon.
Feeding some of the animals.
Dan is sure instilling his love for animals in Marissa. She gets so excited to see any type of animal.
Checking out the Miniature Horse.
Grandma feeding Marissa nacho's. That's what grandma's are for, right???
We are striving to live our lives for Him, together as husband, wife, mom, dad, brother, sister, son, daughter, neighbor, friend, minister, blessing, couple.
Throughout our journey we have had struggles and countless moments we feel blessed. We cannot wait to give back by teaching, helping, digging into life with everyone God puts in our path.
We are blessed to be a blessing.
I am just finishing up preschool. I know how to count to 50. I know all my letters and almost all the sounds. I LOVE the colors pink and purple. In my free time, I love to dance around. My daddy is so special to me. I am blessed to be a big sister and take the responsiblity God gave me seriously by helping my brothers whenever I can.

I know my colors, most shapes, and I am working on my letters. I can count to 10. I love watermelon, corn, and any snack food mom will give me.
I am learning how to allow Jesus to help me with all my decisions and let God rule my heart.
